Tournament Rules

• This tournament is open to all USBC certified bowlers for the 2009-2010 season.

• Teams will consist of 5 bowlers formed with any combination of males and/or females.

• Bowlers must use their highest yearbook average form the last 3 years, or their current average (highest of 2007-2008, 2008-2009, 2009-2010). If bowlers have no sanctioned average or no league sheet with 21 games or more to verify their average, he or she will use a scratch average of 220.

• It will be the responsibility of the bowler to verify their average before the 10^th frame of the first game. If the bowler submits an average lower than their highest average fitting the criteria in bullet point 3, his or her scores will be DISQUALIFIED. A higher average submitted than actual will stand for the remainder of the tournament season. Sport condition averages will be adjusted to USBC adjustment specifications.

• Handicap will be 90% from 1100 for each team. Teams with averages exceeding 1100 will not receive a minus handicap. Maximum handicap will be based off of a 725 minimum team average (337 pins).

• Entries must be submitted together for teams wishing to bowl with one another.

• A bowler arriving late will be permitted to bowl starting from the frame that the team is in at the time. No make up frames will be allowed. All previous frames will be scored at 0 for that bowler.

• Team captains must check in ONE HOUR prior to the tournament start time carrying all USBC sanction cards for the participating team.

•  ALL ENTRY FEES ARE DUE WITH REGISTRATION.

• In the event of a tie for first place, a one game roll-off will take place immediately following the tournament for all teams involved. All other ties will result in a division of the place money split equally between the teams. Prize money will be distributed at Plaza Lanes.

• Any bowler not complying with all of the rules will be disqualified.

• Any rules not covered herein will be governed by USBC rules.

• Any interpretation of rules concerning the conduct of this tournament shalal be made by the tournament director.

• Bowlers with a current PBA card will not be permitted to enter.

• The prize fund for this tournament will be returned 100%. Approximately 1 in 8 will cash.

• The tournament director reserves the right to refuse any bowler from participating.
